Next Steps
No matter who you are, where you are, or whatever life stage in which you find yourself, there's always a next step you need to take. What's your next step?
BELIEVE
Do you believe in Jesus? The greatest news in all of history is the sure fact that Jesus Christ came to this Earth, lived a perfect life, died the death we all deserve, rose from the grave after three days, and is now seated at the right hand of God. Jesus came that we might have life (John 10:10). All He asks is for us to believe in Him and we will be saved (Acts 16:31). None of this is by our own merit or favor, it is by God's amazing grace that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9). It is God's free gift to you because He loves you. Do you believe in Jesus?
be baptized
When a person responds to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and trusts Him as Savior, one of his or her steps of obedience to the Lord's commands should be to be baptized. Baptism is a public declaration of a believer's response to the Gospel. When you become a disciple, Jesus calls you to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). Baptism is a beautiful portrait of a person's spiritual death, burial, and resurrection in Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-11).
begin
Whether it is your first time visiting our church or have been attending for some time, we invite you begin your FBC journey at NewComers Fellowship. At NCF, you can ask questions about belief in Jesus or about baptism. NCF is where you can learn more about Jesus and His purpose for our church. We will present a quick glimpse of our church’s story, its vision, and our ministries. You will also have the opportunity to meet staff and ministry leaders who would love to meet you.
become
To become a member of FBC, each individual must attend Starting Point, our class for new members. Starting Point is a four week class, offered on Sunday mornings. In Starting Point, you will learn what it means to be a church member and what it looks like specifically at FBC as you consider becoming a part of our church. You will meet our pastors and elders, have an opportunity to make new friends, and get any of your questions answered. At the end of the class, you will be given an opportunity to commit to supporting FBC as an actively engaged member.
belong
We believe that small groups provide a more intimate setting which fosters closer relationships for us to belong in community with one another. These relationships allow us to encourage one another in our walk with God and in our personal ministry to others. Life to Life Groups are our primary groups for adults. These groups may be formed around certain characteristics such as geographic location, stage of life, children, meeting times, etc. Life to Life Groups meet on a regular basis for the purposes of prayer, discipleship, equipping, and fellowship.

God gives each of us talents, skills and gifts that He uses to make a difference. God commands us to love one another (1 John 4:7-8).
